Cheerful Chickpea Spread
Rosemary, garlic, and chipotle make this spicy spread perfect for dipping, scooping, and smearing on everything.

This Southern Comfort-infused chickpea dip is the perfect way to spread peace on earth and goodwill to all.
Makes 3 cups
What you need:
2 15-ounce cans chickpeas, drained
1 6-ounce jar roasted red peppers, drained well and coarsely chopped
1-1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, pressed
2 canned chipotle peppers, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
Hot pepper sauce, to taste
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Southern Comfort liqueur
1 package flatbread, sliced into bite-size pieces, plus crackers and celery sticks
What you do:
1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, red peppers, lemon juice, garlic, chipotle peppers, rosemary, hot pepper sauce, salt, and pepper and process. Add in the olive oil and Southern Comfort, until smooth.
2. Transfer spread to a serving bowl on a tray. Surround bowl with flatbread, crackers, and celery sticks for dipping.
