If you’ve never dipped your toes—or, more appropriately, your fingers—into the wonderful world of mole sauces, now’s the time. Native Kjalii Foods has introduced a couple of new products to its delicious line of chips, dips, and salsas, and we can’t get enough of the spicy, nutty, slightly tangy Roasted Mole. Warm it up and pour over steamed veggies, rice and beans, or your veggie-dog-in-a-bun, or try dunking your chips, fries, or baked potato wedges into it. Next, try to guess the secret ingredient. Give up? Figs! The fruit ads a subtle sweetness that plays perfectly off the heat of the chipotle peppers. Now, please pass the chips!
