Top Eco-Friendly Universities

These days, students aren’t just concerned about an academic institution’s prestige, but they want to know about veg options and how eco-friendly the university is as well. The Sierra Club is equally concerned with the latter and has issued a report card based upon schools’ green credentials. The University of Colorado at Boulder came in first, with the University of Washington at Seattle coming in second and Middlebury College coming in third. The schools were rated in categories that included food, transportation, energy, and waste management. And of course, vegetarian meal options are available at all of the above, and cutting out the meat sure helps the environment as well.
