Vegans now have an online library of helpful health information at their fingertips with the launch of plantebasedreasearch.org. The digital database gives users access to peer-reviewed articles on scientific health studies pertaining to cruelty-free diets. Plant Based Research was started by Micaela Karlsen, who served as the executive director of the T. Colin Campbell Foundation and contributed to the best-selling book, Forks Over Knives: The Plant-Based Way to Health. The website is easy to navigate and breaks up the articles into categories such as autoimmune diseases, mental health, and diabetes. Users can also submit questions, which will be answered by experts in monthly newsletters.
