Throughout the month of May, beauty brand 100% Pure will donate 100 percent of its profits from sales of selected five-piece beauty sets to benefit organizations working to rescue dogs from the Yulin Meat Festival in China. The festival will take place June 21-30 and an estimated 10,000 to 15,000 dogs will be tortured, slaughtered, and consumed. Two of the selected sets—Shine Free and Floral Body Team Trio—are vegan, and the brand is currently removing honey from all of its products to become fully vegan. “Even if you’re not vegan or vegetarian,” 100% Pure founder Susie Wang said, “everyone should contribute to the cause to keep dogs from getting viciously tortured.”
