Starting June 1, United Kingdom-based restaurant and cocktail chain Dirty Bones will add the Vegan Mac Daddy burger to the menu of its five London-area locations. The burger features the B12 Burger patty made by British vegan brand Moving Mountains, which compares itself to California-based Beyond Meat’s Beyond Burger. Dirty Bones will top the vegan burger—available at a 50-percent discount on its £12 ($16) menu price on launch day—with cashew-based mac and cheese, “short rib” mushrooms, and espresso-spiked barbecue sauce. Moving Mountains debuted the B12 Burger—made with mushrooms, potatoes, beets, wheat and soy proteins, and coconut oil—earlier this year with the metaphorical mission of “moving mountains” by displacing beef in the global food industry with its plant-based patty.
