It has submitted a video to the “I Am Free Enterprise Contest,” which awards $50,000 to the business that best embodies free enterprise by generating jobs and boosting the economy. From growing vegetables to packaging its product, Perfected Foods’ entire operation takes places in the United States. Every time a person buys a pack of its soy jerky, the company provides a vegan meal to someone in need around the world. At the end of today, the one-week YouTube viewing blitz (each video view counts as a vote) for the contest concludes, and a panel chooses five finalists for the public to vote on.
