Welfare Organization Awarded

The International Fund for Animal Welfare has recently hit the $1 million mark in total donations from greatergood.org. Founded in 1969, the IFAW promotes animal welfare in more than 40 countries and has more than 1 million supporters worldwide. The donations distributed by greatergood.org have allowed the IFAW to help animals in crisis since 2008 by treating more than 50,000 animals in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, caring for orphaned bears in Russia, and developing protocols to assist animals in nuclear radiation zones after natural disasters, among other projects.
