Hey Pesto

Perfect as a sandwich spread or pasta sauce, this pesto is sure to please.

What you need:

  • 1 bunch basil, washed with stems removed
  • 1 small clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon white miso
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted pine nuts

What you do:

  1. In a food processor, combine all ingredients. Add more water as needed to make a paste. 
  2. Use leftover pesto as a sauce for cooked pasta.
