Eat Your Colors
A public art mural in NYC shows the 88 colors of fruits and vegetables you should eat.

The Nature Matching System project mural, an eight-by-70 foot installation featuring 88 colors of vegetables and fruits for healthy nutrition, is being planned for a playground in Brooklyn, New York. Malaysian-born artist Tattfoo Tan created the public art project after photographing his produce purchases from the Union Square Greenmarket. In Photoshop, he extracted 88 colors, which best represent different fruits and vegetables. The project, according to Tan, acts as a “reminder to consume your daily recommended doses of color.” It was previously installed under the Manhattan bridge and is available in other forms, including a screensaver.
