Mango Ginger Sauce

From the raw food cookbook Angel Foods: Healthy Recipes for Heavenly Bodies, sweet mango gets zestier by adding a kick of ginger.

What you need:

  • 8 honey dates, pitted
  • 1-1/3 tablespoons ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 8 magnoes, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup coconut, shredded

What you do:

  1. In a blender, add dates, ginger, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth. Add mixture to diced mango and toss gently. Garnish with shredded coconut and serve immediately. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert.
