People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal has released its fifth-annual survey for the most veg-friendly National Football League stadiums, and while some old contenders have remained in the top five spots, there are newcomers as well. The Philadelphia Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field, which has maintained first place for three years, offers attendees meat-free “steak” and “chicken” sandwiches, hot dogs, veggie burgers, bean burritos, and fruit plates. Following the Lincoln Financial Field on the list are the New England Patriots’ Gillette Stadium; Oakland Raiders’ O.co Coliseum; the Atlanta Falcons’ Georgia Dome, where patrons can purchase ample vegan burgers and hotdogs; and Detroit Lions’ Ford Field, which serves vegan sloppy Joes and energy bars. Several other stadiums made honorable mentions, such as Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium, and the San Francisco 49er’s Candlestick Park.
