In another campaign coup for Washington, DC-based Compassion Over Killing, international chain, Dunkin’ Donuts, is now offering almond milk at approximately 75 percent of its locations. The doughnut shop—the largest of its kind in the world with more than 7,500 stores in the US alone—serves 3 million customers every single day. Compassion Over Killing first launched its campaign in 2008 to encourage the retailer to add more vegan menu items, and is pushing for a line of vegan doughnuts to come next. According to John Costello, president of global marketing and innovation, “we believe adding Almond Breeze Almondmilk now gives our guests a unique and delicious new way to enjoy our famous coffee or lattes.”
