Two Seattle residents have purchased vegan restaurant Pizza Pi after the original owner closed the business in September. Long-time vegans and regular customers Meredith Monroe and Rex Ray introduced themselves as the new owners via social media last week, promising Pizza Pi’s fans that “together, we have the ethics, passion for animals, and love for pizza to ensure that Pizza Pi thrives and grows for years to come.” Open for 13 years, the restaurant’s menu includes Field Roast meat alternatives, Teese and Daiya cheeses, and many gluten-free options.
