The article features several recipes for meatless main dishes, including vegan swaps such as Black Bean and Chorizo Taco Filling, Sloppy Joes, and Neatloaf made with oats, brown rice, mushrooms, and walnuts. Writer Grant Butler says, “For people looking to cut back, there are plenty of meat-free options that are geared towards people who typically like meaty fare.” With Portland’s Vegan Beer & Food Festival and consistent presence on best cities for vegans lists, we’d say Oregon—the home state of So Delicious—has the right idea!
