Vegan-Friendly Voodoo Doughnut Expands to Texas
Beloved bakery opens a new storefront in downtown Austin.
October 12, 2015
Last week, Portland, OR-based Voodoo Doughnut opened its doors with a soft opening at its new downtown Austin, TX location. Vegans have flocked to the bakery for years for its unmatched assortment of vegan doughnuts, which include flavors such as Oreo’s, Triple Chocolate Penetration (with Coco Puffs), Neapolitan, and Chico Stick (which tastes similar to a Butterfinger). The Austin location marks the shop’s fifth storefront, with bakeries (and a food truck) in Oregon, Denver, and even Taiwan. Voodoo Doughnut is not only known for its selection of vegan goodies, but also for the long lines that curl around the block. The grand opening for the Austin location is set for Halloween weekend.
