Gratitude to Open in Beverly Hills

Upscale vegan restaurant Gratitude—a spinoff of sister chain Café Gratitude—is building a new location in Beverly Hills, CA. The restaurant posted a notice to file for an open air permit on September 12 at the former Coupa Café location (419 N. Canon Drive). The flagship location of Gratitude opened in nearby Newport Beach, CA in February with a seasonal vegan menu prepared by chef Dreux Ellis and an organic cocktail program managed by Jason Eisner—both of whom will also bring their expertise to the new location. “Located in one of the ritziest parts of town just a few blocks from Rodeo Drive,” Eater LA writer Crystal Coser says, “the upscale vegan concept should fare quite well in the neighborhood, and will surely be a huge boon for the vegan community.” The Beverly Hills location of Gratitude is slated to open early next year.
