Starbucks Unveils New Frozen Vegan Options
Caramel Espresso, Youthberry White Tea, and Strawberry Lemon Limeade are coming to a café near you.

Starbucks unveiled a new line of frozen summer treats on Monday to be added to its new Sunset Menu. Available at participating locations exclusively after 3pm, this new line of vegan and easily-veganizable granitas come in Caramel Espresso, Youthberry White Tea, and Strawberry Lemon Limeade. The first combines “a scoop of lightly-sweetened, finely shaved ice topped with bold espresso shots, a splash of cream, and finished with caramel drizzle” and is made vegan by replacing cream with soy or coconut milk and caramel drizzle with a pump of caramel syrup. The Youthberry granita’s base is lemonade-flavored and topped with Teavana Youthberry White tea—a blend of pineapple, açaí, and hibiscus. Strawberry Lemon Limeade also is lemonade-flavored, blended with strawberry slices and topped with house-made limeade. These additions are the latest in a slew of cool-down vegan options at Starbucks, including Frappuccinos, healthy smoothies, and the viral Pink Drink.
