PETA Names Sexiest Vegan Celebrities of 2016

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have named actor Liam Hemsworth and singer Jhené Aiko as the Sexiest Vegan Celebrities of 2016. The winners beat out competitors such as Waka Flocka Flame, Ellie Goulding, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Casey Affleck. Hemsworth—whose girlfriend Miley Cyrus held the title last year—went vegan in October and credited his Hunger Games co-star Woody Harrelson for encouraging him to make the transition. “[T]here are no negatives to eating like this,” Hemsworth said. “I feel nothing but positive, mentally and physically. I love it.” Aiko—who recently performed a tribute to late musician Prince at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival—said, “Having grown up with a love for and a connection to all animals as well as having been educated on the health benefits of a plant-based lifestyle, it made sense for me to go vegan.” As part of the organization’s campaign to promote vegan individuals, last month PETA selected Dexter Thomas as the first-ever transgender man to hold the title of Sexiest Vegan Next Door.
