With the help of UK brewing company Windsor & Eton Brewery, couple Megan Evans and Whitney Bacon will launch a vegan bacon-flavored beer. The B.A.B.E. beer—which stands for “bacon and beer everyday,” and is a nod to the famous pig—will be brewed under the Uprising Brewery brand, use a vegan bacon flavoring, and contain around six percent alcohol by volume. “I always wanted to do something unique with my name,” Bacon said. “I’ve always been a massive fan of craft beer and I thought this was a chance to show that women can love beer just as much as men.” The couple document their lives on YouTube channel “What Wegan Did Next” where they travel and often drink various alcoholic beverages. Evans’ and Bacon’s B.A.B.E. beer will be available for purchase at the Windsor & Eton Brewery on May 26.
