A recent feature in media outlet Tech.Co explained how to attract millennials into the workforce. Business consulting firm CEOGrowth’s coach Krister Ungerboeck revealed five tips for creating an environment in which the sought-after generation would want to work. In addition to fostering an inclusive workplace with employees from diverse backgrounds, Ungerboeck stressed the importance of offering workplace snacks that are attractive to millennials. “Gone are the days when a boss can come with a box of donuts without offending anyone,” Ungerboeck said, adding, “if you are going to offer food and drink in the office kitchen or at company parties, make sure that you are offering a wide variety of health-conscious foods with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options.” In a recent interview, Saladworks’ CEO Patrick Sugrue revealed that many of the new menu items currently in development at the chain will focus on plant-based protein in order to appeal to millennial customers.
