South London pizza chain Four Hundred Rabbits will launch a creative vegan pizza option today in honor of Veganuary—an initiative that promotes adopting a vegan lifestyle for the month of January. The Veganuary special pizza features a sourdough crust slathered in a squash pesto, then topped with berbere-spiced chickpeas, crispy onions, wood-roasted beets, celery, sultana raisins, and a drizzle of maple peanut butter sauce made with local nut butter brand Pip & Nut. Londoners looking for more traditional pizza options can visit international chain Pizza Hut, which added vegan cheese by Greek brand Violife to its all of its 262 locations across the United Kingdom in November.
