Twin brothers David and Stephen Flynn of vegan food brand and café The Happy Pear in Dublin, Ireland, will a host a vegan Murder Mystery event on October 28. Dubbed “Murder on the Menu,” the evening will offer party-goers an opportunity to take on a fictional persona, solve a chilling crime, and determine who among them is the criminal. Participants will also indulge in a three-course vegan dinner, which includes a glass of prosecco, soup with sourdough bread, vegan Sunday roast, and apple crumble. “This is a fun, themed supper club event for Halloween featuring fancy-dress and a murder mystery to solve, with prizes for the best costume and best detective,” a spokesperson for The Happy Pear told VegNews. “We hope the real intrigue will be around the delicious, three-course vegan meal of the night.” The Murder Mystery event is part of a seasonal supper club The Happy Pear cafe hosts, along with other events, such as free yoga and meditation, a speaker series, and an annual apple pie competition.
