Beyond Sausage Hits Yankee Stadium for Baseball Season

Yankee Stadium in New York now offers Beyond Meat’s newest product, the pork-less Beyond Sausage, at on-site Bareburger restaurant. Baseball fans can order the Beyond Sausage Original Bratwurst Link, which is topped with pickled jalapeños, caramelized onions, and self-serve condiments, and is served on a vegan pretzel bun. Bareburger first partnered with Beyond Meat in January and has since added the brand’s Beyond Burger to all 38 of its locations, replacing its “exotic” boar and elk options with the plant-based patty. Beyond Meat debuted the Beyond Sausage in three flavors—Original Bratwurst, Hot Italian, and Sweet Italian—at a Boulder, CO Whole Foods Market in December and has since expanded its availability to eateries in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York—including all locations of Bareburger. As of last week, all three flavors of the Beyond Sausage are also available at Chicago-based eatery The Moonlighter, where patrons can also order an iconic veganized “Chicago Dog” from its secret menu.
