Artist and actress Kay Lovelle revealed that she intends to positively represent veganism as a contestant on season 19 of Big Brother UK, which debuted on September 14. “I’m vegan, and with that comes a lot of responsibility,” Lovelle told media outlet The Mirror. “I feel like I’ve got to do veganism justice, and really alter people’s perception of it.” Lovelle revealed that she does not anticipate missing anything from her regular routine during her stay at the Big Brother house. “As I said, I’m vegan, but I mean, I’m fine on brown rice and vegetables if that’s all there is in the house. I’m not fussy,” Lovelle said. “But maybe I’ll miss the foods that I’m used to, like my morning-special vitamin shake.” Later this month, vegan actress Evanna Lynch will make her debut alongside professional dancer Keo Motsepe on season 27 of reality show Dancing With the Stars.
