Furniture retailer IKEA recently added oat smoothies under its “Munsbit” line to its in-store food shop. The smoothies are available in two flavors: a mix of Apple, Pear, Ginger and Blackcurrant, Blueberry, and Acerola (a type of cherry). “Includes no animal ingredients, therefore it’s a good choice for vegetarians and vegans,” IKEA describes the new smoothies, adding, “By drinking oats instead of dairy products you reduce your carbon footprint.” IKEA has recently added several vegan options to its in-store bistros, including a vegan hot dog, and plans to introduce vegan soft serve this summer. The Munsbit smoothies—which are currently on sale for $1.61 each—will be available in stores until March 26 or until supplies last.
