Select Starbucks locations in the United Kingdom have added new vegan food options, according to a photo posted to Facebook group Vegan UK. The new options include Vegan Mac (a combination of vegan cheese, butternut squash, and greens) and an All Day Breakfast Burrito that features scrambled tofu wrapped in a spinach-infused tortilla. In recent months, Starbucks has expanded its UK menus to include a Winter Sandwich (stuffed with roasted squash, kale, cranberry sauce, and served on pumpkin bread), two wraps (Vegan Wrap with Falafel & Slaw and a Kale Jalapeño & Slaw Wrap), and several dessert options. While the addition of vegan food options at United States locations of Starbucks has not kept up with its UK outlets, the company’s Chief Operating Officer Rosalind Brewer assured last year that a plant-based food line is on the way.
