This month, yogurt brand Chobani will debut The World of Chobani Oat—a new line of oat-based products, including several plant-based options. The new line features oat drinks in four flavors (Plain, Vanilla, Chocolate, and Plain Extra Creamy); yogurts in four flavors (Vanilla, Strawberry Vanilla, Blueberry Pomegranate, and Peach Mandarin); and yogurt cups with crunchy toppings in three flavors (Strawberry Granola Crunch, Blueberry Almond Crumble, and Peach Coconut Crunch). In December, Chobani will further expand the line with Oat Drink Barista Blend, a plant-based milk that it designed to behave like steamed whole milk in coffee. “Like yogurt, oats are an ancient food with deep roots in our culture and our land. These grains deserve to be celebrated,” Chobani Founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya said. “I always knew our journey from yogurt to becoming a modern food company would be through nutritious, delicious, batch-made products like Chobani Oats, and today they’re helping us further deliver on our founding mission of making better food for more people.” The new line builds on Chobani’s existing plant-based offerings of coconut milk-based yogurts and drinks that it launched in January.
