CoverGirl Debuts Its First All Vegan Beauty Line 

The four-product line includes foundation, highlighter, blush, and lip oil that’s cruelty-free certified and also not sold in China.

This week, beauty brand CoverGirl debuted the Clean Fresh line at beauty chain Ulta and online retailer Amazon—its first all-vegan collection that will start hitting drugstores nationwide in January. CoverGirl’s new line consists of four animal-free products: Skin Milk Foundation (a coconut milk-based formula with a dewy finish available in 14 shades); Cream Blush (a plumping cheek color infused with hydrating hyaluronic acid); Cooling Glow Stick (a shimmery highlighter available in four shades); and Tinted Lip Oil (a liquid lip color that will be exclusively sold at CVS). All items in the collection retail between $11 and $12 each. In 2018, CoverGirl—which is not sold in China—obtained the Leaping Bunny certification from Cruelty Free International to ensure that its products, including the new Clean Fresh line, are never tested on animals.
