Vegan actor Alan Cumming made an appearance during a vegan shows at this year’s New York Fashion Week last weekend. The actor was outfitted in a tailored suit made from Italian-milled bamboo fibers by New York-based vegan menswear brand Brave GentleMan. During the presentation, Brave GentleMan founder Joshua Katcher showcased his newest designs, including wool-free three-piece suits, shawls made from recycled polyester, and motorcycle-jacket inspired blazers. Katcher also teased his upcoming shoe collection that features eco-certified vegan leather sourced from Italy. Cumming’s support of the Brave GentleMan aligns with his vegan advocacy efforts as the actor transitioned to veganism in 2011. Since then, Cumming’s has used his fame to fight for animal and human-rights alike, including appearing in a campaign in 2016 that demanded vegan options at Dairy Queen.
