Häagen-Dazs Debuts Boozy Vegan Amaretto Flavor

Ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs will debut its Spirits Collection in scoop shops in March and retail stores in April, including an innovative vegan flavor. The Non-Dairy Amaretto Black Cherry Almond Toffee flavor features swirls of black cherry jam and bits of almond toffee. In 2017, the brand launched its first four vegan flavors: Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, Coconut Caramel, Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, and Mocha Chocolate Cookie. In 2018, Häagen-Dazs expanded its line to include four new products: Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge and Coconut Caramel Dark Chocolate bars and pints of Crunchy Peanut Butter and Coconut Cookies and Crème (which are part of the brand’s Trio Crispy Layers line). Later this year, ice-cream lovers in New York City can order three vegan Häagen-Dazs flavors (Chocolate Salted Fudge, Coconut Caramel, and Mocha Chocolate Cookie) via a new sustainability platform Loop where ice cream pints are delivered in reusable tins that can be returned, washed, and refilled for a waste-free ice cream experience.
