Starbucks Debuts Vegan-Friendly Cherry Mocha for Valentine’s Day

Coffee chain Starbucks introduced its seasonal Cherry Mocha for Valentine’s Day at participating locations nationwide, which can be ordered hot or cold from today until February 17. The new latte can be ordered vegan by asking for plant-based milk and omitting whipped cream, and features a blend of espresso, cherry syrups, mocha sauce, and is topped with vegan sugar and cocoa Valentine’s Day sprinkles. Starbucks described the new beverages as, “love in every sip.” Starbucks has been experimenting with vegan-friendly specialty beverages in recent years, including a Nutella-inspired Hazelnut Mocha Coconutmilk Macchiato it unveiled in February of last year and the Juniper Latte, a limited-time addition during the 2018 holiday season.
