Pizza chain Papa John’s recently added Cheesy Vegan Potato Wedges and Vegan Jalapeño Cheesy Potato Wedges to its menu across the United Kingdom. The new wedges will be made using vegan Sheese by Scottish brand Bute Island Foods. In January, the company added vegan cheese to its menu along with three new vegan pizza options—Vegan Sheese and Tomato, Garden Party with Sheese, and Hot Pepper Passion with Vegan Sheese—which sold out within 24 hours. Papa John’s also offers Sheese and Marmite Scrolls as a side option. “Papa John’s is committed to delivering better ingredients, better pizza, and we’re excited to expand our menu so those with plant-based diets or dietary restrictions can enjoy it, too,” Liz Williams, Managing Director at Papa John’s, said. “We worked closely with PETA who helped us develop the recipes and find the best vegan products, so we expect that the new additions will be a huge hit.”
