Food company Heinz partnered with food delivery service Deliveroo to offer the Heinz Beanz Pizza to customers in the United Kingdom. The pizza was created to celebrate Heinz’ 150th anniversary and comes in two varieties: classic and vegan. The brand first debuted its pizza, then with no vegan option, at supermarkets in the UK but discontinued the offering in 2003. “The Heinz Beanz Pizza was an absolute ‘90s cult classic, so we’re sprinkling a touch of magic and bringing it back into customers’ homes for 2019,” Heinz representative Joe Groves said. Only 150 pizzas are available at each participating restaurant—which includes Joe Public, Pizza Punks, and Proove—and can be ordered exclusively from Deliveroo.
