Ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs recently launched its newest vegan ice cream option, Non-Dairy Chocolate Fudge Frozen Dessert Bars. The company describes the new flavor as “an indulgent non-dairy bar made from Belgian chocolate, cocoa, and swirls of chocolate fudge that’s finished with a decadent rice milk chocolate coating.” In 2017, Häagen-Dazs first launched four vegan ice cream flavors: Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, Coconut Caramel, Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, and Mocha Chocolate Cookie. In 2018, the brand expanded its line to include four new products: Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge and Coconut Caramel Dark Chocolate bars and pints of Crunchy Peanut Butter and Coconut Cookies and Crème. In addition to the new chocolate fudge bar, Häagen-Dazs added a new pint flavor, Non-Dairy Amaretto Black Cherry Almond Toffee, which it debuted at scoop shops in March. This year, competing brand Ben & Jerry’s also expanded its vegan line with two flavors: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Caramel Cluster.
