Vegan Chicken Schnitzel Launches in Australia

A new line of vegan chicken products recently launched at Australian supermarket chain Woolworths. The Unreal Co. brand offers products such as Schnitzel, Chick’n Burgers, Fried Chick’n Pieces, Italian Beefy Burgers, and Chick’n Nuggets made from soy, pea, and rice protein. “[The] Chicken Nuggets are bite-sized bombs of healthy and hearty plant-based goodness,” Woolworths’ website says. “Loved by kids and adults alike, these scrumptious vegan and gluten-free nuggets are waiting to be stacked and dipped into your favorite sauce.” The new meat-free line adds to Woolworths’ growing variety of vegan product options, including vegan cheese brand Sheese, meatless meat brand Tofurky, and vegan condiment companyFollow Your Heart.
