Millennial Pink-Hued Café Opens in London

Newly opened Humble Pizza might be the world’s most Instagrammable vegan eatery.

New vegan eatery Humble Pizza recently opened in London and it’s a sight to behold. The exterior is painted a millennial pink hue with an all-pink interior to match. The concept was created by London designers Chieh Huang and Alexey Kostikov of Chic Studios to evoke a 1950s aesthetic blended with a social-media friendly atmosphere where the minimalist interior highlights the café’s stylish vegan food. On the menu, Humble serves a variety of salads and soups in pink-hued bowls, and pizzas made with a cauliflower base with topping combinations such as truffles and mushrooms; saffron and asparagus; and vegan mozzarella, mushrooms, and shaved potatoes. “We have long been attracted to the cinematic quality of London’s ‘Formica cafés,’” the designers said. “The duality of Modernist design language and the playful, almost cartoonish spirit.” This month, Condé Nast Traveler named Humble Pizza one of its most beautiful restaurants in London in 2019.
