YouTube star John Jurasek—known as “Reviewbrah” on his The Report of the Week  channel—shared his assessment of the Impossible Whopper with his more than 1.5 million subscribers. The 22-year-old food reviewer obtained the plant-based burger on August 8, the day Burger King launched the Impossible Whopper at its more than 7,200 locations nationwide. “Burger King has finally gone ahead and released the Impossible Whopper nationwide. And this is something that has been hyped up not just for days, not for weeks, but for months,” Jurasek said. “As a matter of fact, they’re interviewing newborn babies right now who are saying they were indeed having visions of the Impossible Whopper while still in the womb. So, this is big.” Prior to tasting the burger, Jurasek explained the subpar customer-service experience he had at Burger King when ordering the Impossible Burger, stating that the employees first told him the new burger was not available and yelled profanities when they prepared the burger. Jurasek first checked the Impossible Whopper for spit before taking a bite, expressing amazement that the patty was made from plants and not beef. “I’m pleasantly surprised, to be honest. I think it’s actually pretty good for what it is,” Jurasek said. “It’s a little mind-boggling the fact that [Impossible Foods] is able to take this patty of organic, plant-based material and make it literally look like a beef patty.” After rating the Impossible Whopper an 8.2 out of 10, Jurasek said that the plant-based burger made his bad customer-service experience more tolerable: “I would say that it’s worth it. It’s inventive [and] it tastes pretty good …”
