In early 2020, vegan brand Miyoko’s Creamery will launch a variety of new products, including the world’s first spreadable cultured vegan oat-based butter. Miyoko’s new Oat Milk Butter will be available in two flavors: classic European-style butter churned from organic oat milk and a garlic- and vegan parmesan-infused version. The company will also release an unsalted version of its existing nut-based European Style Cultured Vegan Butter. The remaining new products will be allergen-friendly, meltable cheeses made from cultured potatoes, legumes, and oats available in two flavors (Pepper Jack and Cheddar) and in three formats: slices, shreds, and blocks. “They are ideal for everything from plant-based burgers and grilled cheese to quesadillas and nachos, at home and at school,” the company said in a statement. “Kids taste-tested can’t tell the difference, and parents are thrilled at the protein-rich, allergen-free clean ingredients.” Miyoko’s new products join its portfolio of 19 existing products which include nut-based cheese wheels, spreads, and European Style Cultured Vegan Butter—which debuted in Canada by way of 1,000 retail stores earlier this month.
