New York City’s first annual Vegan Christmas Market will take place at 342 W. 37th Street in Manhattan from November 30 to December 1. Visitors can expect a variety of gifts and goods from vendors from NYC and neighboring areas, including skincare care products, cosmetics, baked goods, dairy-free fine cheeses, chocolates, savory foods, fashion items such as handbags, jewelry, winter coats, and more. “We want to invite the public to do their shopping in a manner that underlines the true essence of the holidays, which is a celebration of peace, love, and compassion for all beings, both humans and animals,” event creator and organizer An Pham said. While admission is free, VIP tickets ($8) will include early entry to the market and a beanie embroidered with a green leaf logo. The market will also hold its second annual event in Canada on December 7 and December 8 in Montreal following last year’s inaugural event in Toronto.
