Plant-based brand Silk recently launched an innovative vegan half & half creamer at retailers nationwide. The Silk Dairy-Free Half & Half Alternative—available for a suggested retail price of $4.29 per 32-ounce carton—is the first plant-based half & half product to use oat milk in its formulation, which also includes coconut milk. “Silk is excited to expand its lineup of dairy-free options for those who want a splash of cream—without the ‘moo’—in their morning brew,” Silk Senior Brand Manager Martha Opela said. “Silk Dairy-Free Half & Half Alternative tastes great and supplies the creaminess you crave, without any dairy or added sugar, and it’s hitting shelves at the perfect time—the thick of winter, when cozying up with a cup of coffee just feels right.” Silk is offering customers a half-off coupon from now until February 17 to celebrate the launch of its new half & half. Silk also recently expanded its product portfolio to include vegan Heavy Whipping Cream, an alternative to dairy-based heavy cream that can be used for baking and is now available at Walmart for $4.28 for a 16-ounce carton.
