16 Handles Debuts Vegan Oat Milk Soft Serve

This week, New York City-based frozen yogurt chain 16 Handles launched a new oat milk-based soft-serve line. Throughout February and March, customers can sample Chocolate Devotion and Dreamboat Coconut, the first two vegan flavors of the oat milk line with more to come. In January 2019, 16 Handles launched a cashew milk-based soft-serve line with a Chocolate Hazelnut Truffle flavor and added a new vegan option on the 16th of each month through March. “We were amazed by the response to our cashew-milk vegan flavors last year,” 16 Handles CEO and founder Solomon Choi said. “In 2020, we knew we wanted to do something even bigger, which is why we couldn’t be more excited to bring our new oat milk flavors to the handles.” The chain also offers vegan sorbets, soft serve made with a soy milk base, and vegan toppings such as dairy-free Belgian chocolate chips.
