Award-winning vegan actor Joaquin Phoenix spent his weekend eating Impossible Burgers, plant-based sausages, smoked barbecue beans, asparagus, and potato salad provided by Los Angeles vegan restaurant Crossroads Kitchen. The meal is part of the restaurant’s new cook-at-home kits, an offering it created to keep business running while its physical location remains closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We know what Joaquin Phoenix will be grilling this weekend—the Crossroads grilling kit! How about you guys? Call the front desk to order our kit to take home today?” Crossroads captioned a photo of Phoenix digging into the meal on Instagram. Impossible Foods jumped on the opportunity to comment on the Joker star’s meal, stating “this grill kit is no joke(r).”

In addition to Phoenix, a number of celebrities enjoyed a meal kit from Crossroads this weekend, including television producer Mike White, actress Christina Applegate (who recently called Crossroads “the best vegan restaurant on the planet”), and musician Robert Trujillo—bassist of iconic band Metallica. The restaurant also offers heat-and-serve dishes, such as Mushroom French Onion Soup, Loaded Impossible Nachos, and Strawberry Shortcake.
