Vegan brand Field Roast Grain Meat Co. recently launched new Plant-Based Nuggets in the freezer section of retailers Albertsons, Sobeys, and Price Chopper with additional retail locations to come this summer, along with distribution to foodservice providers. The new nuggets feature 14 grams of protein per serving and are made with roasted garlic, wheat, and pea protein. “Remember the joy that a chicken nugget could bring you as a kid?” Dan Curtin—president of Field Roast parent company Greenleaf Foods—said. “We’re bringing that back with an absolutely delicious plant-based nugget that’s easy to prepare, flavorful on its own, yet still stands up to dips and sauces. And they’re not just for kids—adults are going to crave these, too.”

In addition to the new nuggets, Field Roast—known for its refrigerated vegan meats and cheeses—offers several frozen food options, including Fruffalo Wings (spicy vegan Buffalo wings) and Miniature Corn Dogs, both of which are growing in sales by 490 percent year-over-year.
