This week, supermarket chain Trader Joe’s will add vegan cheesecake to its shelves. The new Cheese-Less “Cheesecakes” will be sold frozen in packs of two 4.2-ounce cheesecakes for $3.99. A Trader Joe’s employee at a Tellahassee, FL location has already spotted the cheesecakes at their local store and other employees are expecting shipments of the new coconut milk-based vegan desserts at additional locations.

The vegan cheesecakes build on Trader Joe’s growing selection of plant-based foods, including recently launched Non-Dairy Oat Frozen Dessert (strawberry ice cream dotted with almond brittle and candied strawberries); Vegan Caesar Dressing; and Cheddar Style Slices and Mozzarella Style Shreds. Trader Joe’s now also carries a variety of vegan burgers, including its own Plant-Based Protein Patties (in vegan beef and turkey flavors) and Impossible Burger (which launched this week).
