This month, HumanCo—a mission-driven holding company working to build sustainable brands—announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Oregon-based vegan ice cream company Coconut Bliss. HumanCo was founded by Jason H. Karp—the co-founder of vegan chocolate company Hu—and is passionate about developing brands that are dedicated to customer trust, sustainability, and transparency.

Family-owned and woman-led Coconut Bliss was founded in 2005 and specializes in organic coconut milk-based ice cream pints, bars, and sandwiches. In February, the brand launched its more affordable Everyday Bliss line in four flavors: Caramel Macchiato, Salty Peanut Butter Chip, Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip, and Vanilla Brownie Swirl. “I am thrilled to join forces with HumanCo and amplify the importance of organic and intentionally sourced foods.
