This month, San Diego-based vegan brand Bitchin’ Sauce will launch its products at more than 360 Sprouts Farmers Market stores nationwide. The almond-based sauce and dip will be available in Original, Cilantro Chili, Chipotle, and Pesto flavors for $5.99 per 8-ounce tub. First created in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Luke Andrew (L.A.) and Starr Edwards, Bitchin’ Sauce is now distributed at a variety of retailers, including Costco.

“We’re so excited to be launching in Sprouts Farmers Market,” Starr Edwards said. “We used to purchase our fresh ingredients from our local Sprouts when we first started the company, so this partnership feels very full circle for me. We can’t wait to share our Bitchin’ goodies with even more Very Bitchin’ People.”

Bitchin’ beats?
Last year, the Edwards’—who were touring musicians before creating the vegan sauce brand—launched a music label called Bitchin’ Music Group in affiliation with Universal Music Group. The duo plans to work with established and up-and-coming artists in the Americana, country, and rock genres and is currently building The Bitchin’ music studio in Nashville, TN, where artists will soon be able to record. L.A. Edwards recorded the label’s first record, Blessings From Home: Volume 1—which features Ron Blair and Steve Ferrone of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers—and it was released on December 4.
