New vegan brand Ace of Air recently launched with the mission of setting a new zero-waste precedent in the beauty and wellness industry. Founded by vegan supermodel Petra Němcová, former Revlon executive Stephanie Stahl, and finance professional David Knowlton, Ace of Air offers a system where customers “buy the product, borrow the package”—where customers receive a “boomerang box” that they fill with empty containers and return to the company—to create a circular, waste-free model so that its packaging does not end up in the ocean or landfills.

“In the fall of 2017, we began creating the business of our dreams—an uplifting, inclusive brand for women and men designed to have a positive impact on people and our planet with powerfully nourishing skincare and supplement products,” Stahl said. “We did this, not because we thought the world needs another beauty and wellness brand. It doesn’t. We did this because our planet needs a beauty and wellness brand that fundamentally changes what and how we consume.”

Beauty for humans, animals, and the planet
The brand’s formulations are made with wild-harvested and fair-trade ingredients and without parabens, silicones, sulfates, formaldehyde, mineral oil, petroleum, phthalates, and allergens such as gluten, wheat, or artificial binders, and fillers. Ace of Air’s first eight products include two serums, two moisturizers, and four supplements designed to support gut health, promote firmer skin, and provide a boost of Omega fatty acids—all made without animal products or testing.

“Our products are expertly formulated at the intersection of herbalist wisdom and modern science, focusing on products that work from the inside out, and are deeply holistic on every level,” Němcová said. “We work with a brilliant group of experts including dermatologists, herbalists, naturopaths, nutritionists, natural pharmacists, and environmentalists to formulate products that uplift our bodies, as well as people and planet, through the entire value chain.”

Ace of Air’s line products are priced between $35 to $85 and the brand is currently taking pre-orders and will begin shipping in four to six weeks.
