Convenience store chain 7-Eleven recently launched a variety of vegan grab-and-go options at its more than 700 locations across Australia. The new options include two sandwiches (No Chicken and Lettuce and No Egg and Lettuce), a No Beef Pie hand pie, and a No Sausage Roll. The new items are priced between $4 AUS ($2.77 USD) and $5 AUS ($3.56 USD).

“We didn’t just want to have plant based options, we wanted to make sure they were tasty products in their own right,” Julie Laycock, 7-Eleven Australia’s General Manager of Marketing, said. “The convenience of being able to drop into one of our 700+ stores makes it even easier for people looking for vegan friendly and vegetarian food and those who want to mix plant-based meals into their diet more often.”

The convenience chain is also testing a soy milk option at its stores in the state of Victoria and offers vegan Teriyaki Mushroom Onigiri rice balls at select locations.
