American-based lifestyle company Matthew Kenney Cuisine has partnered with Thai resort Evason Hua Hin to open Asia’s first plant-based culinary academy in Pranburi, Thailand. Currently, month-long courses focusing on techniques to prepare whole, unprocessed, plant-based foods are available while weekday and weekend workshops will be introduced later this year. The goal of these classes is to teach the fundamentals of raw, vegan gastronomy while taking a creative approach to preparing nutritious dishes. The academy joins the ranks of Kenney’s three other locations that have graduated students from more than 30 countries around the world.
